Let’s face it, all of us are busy individuals and it may be difficult for us to cook whenever it is necessary and eat the right types of things. That is why many of us find that we are gaining weight regularly, because we do not take the time to cook the food’s necessary in order to lose the weight and keep it off. The way that you make a greens smoothies is relatively simple, although there are some complex recipes that are available as well. If you’re anything like me, however, you want to get the preparation of this over with as quickly as possible. My basic recipe is to take two pieces of my favorite fruit, in my case it is apples and banana. I add to that about 10 to 12 ounces of pure water and a handful of ice cubes in order to keep it chilled. The most important part is that you add a handful of green leafy vegetables, usually romaine or something else that is going to be rather mild. Blend it up and drink it for a fantastic nutritional drink.
The reason why this is so effective is because the greens are going to assist you by giving you the fiber necessary to keep your colon clean and the cleansing properties that are necessary to keep the rest of your body clean. Since body toxins are one of the main reasons why people are fat in the first place, the greens smoothie is a simple solution that anybody can use.
Of course, you can’t live on greens smoothies alone so you will want to make sure that you have a number of other easy recipes available which will assist you in losing weight. Don’t worry too much about high carbohydrate or low carbohydrate, as a matter of fact if you worry about carbohydrates at all, worry about the glycemic index. Just make sure that you include plenty of fruits and vegetables in your diet and keep it as clean as possible, the rest of it is all things that you really don’t need to worry about.
